Atlantic Pursuits specialise in introductory courses which are ideal for the novice or families. For the more dedicated, we offer BCU and UKCC courses. All levels from BCU 1-star to Instructor training and assessment. All our instructors are fully qualified with the British Canoe Union, British Surfing Association, R.L.S.S. and S.L.S.G.B. Beach Life Guard Awards.

All equipment is provided in the price (wetsuits, boards, canoes, paddles buoyancy aids, water proofs)

UKCC AND BCU COURSES

Booking Conditions

  • A HALF day comprises two and a half hour session, and a FULL day comprises five hours session contact time.
  • The times of activities will be advised when booking in order to coincide with the best possible conditions (tide times etc)
  • If, for any reason, unsafe conditions stop an activity, a suitable alternative activity or refund will be given.
  • Should you book and not turn up for a session on the day, no refunds are available. Any cancellations made within 14 days are non refundable. 'Cancellation and re-book' can be arranged so long as we are advised 24 hours in advance.
  • All bookings must be paid for in advance with 30% non refundable deposit. All balances to be received 14 days in advance.
  • Atlantic Pursuits operate all year round!
Atlantic Pursuits has a positive view on activities. If it is raining, we still go ahead with all sessions...afterall you will get wet surfing anyway! While we appreciate that sometimes the unexpected can happen to prevent you from being able to take part in a pre booked session, please have the courtesy to advise me, so I can re-arrange my staff and your activity.
